Wellcare

We started Wellcare because "checking a box" isn't care.

Wellcare started after one of our founders spent eighteen months coordinating care for her own father — three different agencies, a new caregiver almost every week, and visit notes that read like time cards instead of updates about a person. The care wasn't bad, exactly. It just wasn't anyone's.

We built Wellcare around the parts that agency were skipping: a consistent caregiver instead of a rotating roster, a care plan written with the family instead of handed to them, and a coordinator who actually picks up the phone. None of that is complicated. It's just slower to scale, which is why a lot of agencies don't bother.

Today we serve families across Fort Bend County with the same standard — licensed, background-checked, and matched by personality as much as by skill. If it wouldn't have been good enough for our founder's father, it isn't good enough to send to yours.

Our values

Consistency Over Convenience

We'd rather delay a match by a day than send whoever's available next.

Families Are Part of the Plan

Care plans are written with you in the room, not delivered as a finished document.

Dignity Is Not Optional

Every task, from bathing to conversation, is built around your loved one keeping control.

We Say What We Don't Know

If a need is outside our scope, we'll tell you and help you find who can actually help.
